Hobsons Instrument Services provides simple service solutions to manufacturers and dealers selling laboratory instrumentation in Australia and New Zealand.

We act as your authorised service agent, working with you to provide a seamless solution to your customers. We pride ourselves in providing the finest service to support your business.

We work for international manufacturers as well as Australian-based sales agents, offering a solution to very common problems experienced when selling into remote markets:

  • Not enough service business to justify a full-time service engineer

Flexible Service Arrangements

As a small independent business we can be flexible to meet your service requirements, ranging from one-off jobs through to complete turnkey service solutions.

We provide the full suite of service requirements to keep the instruments running and your customers happy. This can include responsive servicing for breakdowns, preventive maintenance, pre-sales QC, installation and warranty work. We also provide electrical safety testing to AS/NZS3760.

Depending on your requirements, we can act as your sub-contractor where the customer sees only your company as the service provider and all communication, including billing, goes through your company. Or we can be your authorised service agent and communicate with, and bill, your customers directly.

After an initial discussion, we will agree on a servicing solution to meet your needs.
